beautiful is what this past weekend was
everywhere i went i heard people commenting on the weather
i think we all needed some sunshine
our weekend was completely open to do with as we pleased so
we started it off by attending Abigails soccer game
Cody wanted to bring his book and read during it but we told him no so he watched and napped in the chair instead. Luke and Ryan ran off with Ashlynn to play whatever games they make up, their worst game choice was trying to trap and lock each other in the porta potty, disgusting right?
after that we ate lunch and ran errands as a family
our last stop was costco which none of the boys wanted to go in with us so they stayed in the truck
once we came back out Cody who of course was left in charge told us that Ryan was yelling help out the window we have no idea why but once we found that out he probably needed to be yelling help!
that evening i headed to Nampa to see Tucker all dressed up for prom
i wasn't for sure how to get to the restaurant so my sister was giving me directions as we talked on the phone, well she told me to turn right thinking i was somewhere else and i ended up turning on a one way street which i drove on for a ways until cars were coming at me honking like crazy, eeks it was so scary!
thankfully i did finally make it there alive and in one piece
so i could see this handsome tall boy
he's a lucky boy to have such a great momma
sunday after church we did some outside work
the boys were so excited to help me plant the flowers that we picked out the day before
i really enjoyed having some time with each of them doing something that i love
and looking out my dirty blinds and windows today put an instant smile on my face
after dinner we called the neighbors and headed to the school where the kids rode their bikes and played
on the playground. ruby and jake came too, they love to run wild and free.
Ryan got his first chance at riding his motorcycle in an open field, he rode it for the very first time the day before but just in our backyard. the kid loves it and has no fear so that doesn't make for the perfect combination, but his blue eyes sure are perfect!
my little dare devil
wait until you see what he's starting up next?
these two weren't up for any picture taking but i made them anyway
look how old they are getting, what great kids
and these two make quite the pair together
you can't trust their innocent looking faces, not even for a second
poor luke didn't make it in any pictures, guess it was his lucky day
he's a pretty great boy too though
-a beautiful weekend for sure-

It was wonderful.
