first meeting

Tuesday I took the boys to the hospital to meet their newest cousin.

Ryan was a little unsure after seeing her umbilical cord in a picture,  he said that it was a little creepy and that he would hold her after it fell off, the other two were more than ready.  Once we got there though it was a completely different story, Ryan was so taken and mesmerized by her. He went right up to Summer while she was nursing Kimberly and looked at every part of her tiny little body.  He couldn't believe how little her hands and toes were and how her ears and head could even be so tiny.  He was also relieved to know that he would always be older than her even though her birthday comes before his in April.  Once she was done eating and the boys got to examine her on the bed and watch her get her diaper changed I got to love on my little niece for the very first time.  Really I don't think there is anything better than snuggling with a baby.

 Well now that our vacation is over, new baby Kimberly is here, the birthday shopping and planning is done for a soon to be six year old, the Hunger Games movie watched, and everything's ready for Easter
 life will slowly start getting back to normal but it's not slowing down any,
but that's okay because it's all good.
