went a little something like this...
ate breakfast burritos
went to church
the boys started cleaning and doing chores
(they had lots to do from not listening and had lost tv, video games, computer and play dates)
lunch
quiet time for the boys watching a movie while I napped on the couch
a paper mache art project (what a huge mess this was)
outside play in the sprinkler
played scrabble with Cody while Heath did homework with Luke & Ryan
chicken, potatoes & zucchini for dinner
off to the school playground (fetch, sprinklers and basketball)
buzzed haircuts for the boys
baths
kids tucked in and books read
back downstairs to watch a movie with Heath
it felt good having a day at home to just do whatever
More days like Sunday to sooth the soul!
ReplyDeleteFunny, I almost walked down to the school to play with the girls but wanted to see when Jason got home so we just went to the 'dump'. It would have been funny to end up with a playdate on a can't play with friends day.
